Your average, girl next door

Here's a little about me

I would rather be lying on the coast of somewhere beautiful as opposed to well, anything

But, I love biking through Cades Cove on a warm summer day

I really enjoy running. I feel free and I love being in shape

This girl is more like me than anyone I've ever met before

This little boy brightens my day

This place and this guy give me a feeling I definitely cannot explain!

Isaiah 30;21

In spare time, I love to lay out, go to the gym, or go shopping!
One of my favorite things to collect, quotes! I love quotes about
anything and everything. Whenever I find one worth remembering,
I put it in my quote book so that I can flip through and read it again! :)

Passion and satisfaction go hand in hand, and without them, any happiness is only temporary, because there’s nothing to make it last. – The Last Song

Give thanks for the differences in people and recognize the opportunity to see the world from another view. - Unknown

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you've imagined. - Henry David Thoreau (My Senior quote)

You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you. -Brian Tracy

The grand essentials in this life are something to do, something to love, and something to hope for. - Joseph Addison

Make it a rule of life never to regret and never to look back. Regret is an apaling waste of energy; you can't build on it. - Katherine Mansfield

We are shaped and fashioned by what we love. - Goethe

Home Sweet Home

Being from 'The South', you know real outdoors beauty when it's right in front of you.
I really do live in one of the prettiest places in North Alabama and I think a lot of people take it for granted. Let's face it, it is truly beautiful where the mountains meet the lakes.
Don't get me wrong, New York City is the second best place to be. You can shop anywhere and there is a Starbucks every third block. The possibilites are endless. Hardly anyone owns a car and takes a taxi or the subway everywhere they go. I mean, that's why 90% of the population is skinny.

There is just something about the sweet-tea-drinking place that refreshes the soul. Ironically, I have lived here 19 years of life and I hate sweet tea. Hey, it's possible!

I love the beach, but there's something exciting about only going once a year.

I love Chicago, but I wouldn't go again unless it was to see Oprah.

I love DC, but I couldn't handle that many politicians in two area codes.

I love Massachusetts. It is beauitful but let's face it, we all sound like hicks to them.

I love love love New York City but could only have a vacation home there!
Everywhere you go, you see people who you can talk to for a few minutes and sure, they're friendly. But people anywhere else, just don't have that "Southern Hospitality"
to them like you find here. They say 'you guys' and we say 'y'all'.
They say 'over there' and we say 'over yunder'.

There is just something peaceful about Alabama.
Something peaceful about coming home

Thanks y'all!
