I Do, In Style ;)

Even though I'm not getting married next week, I cannot
help my obession of googling the cutest little houses in the
neighborhood for sale, checking salaries for RN jobs within
the next year in Huntsville, and yes. Wedding dress shopping.
Very. Addicting.
Until I started looking at every magazine that exists on weddings,
I only figured there were a few types of materials and designs to chose from.
BOY was I wrong! One can only dream of the perfect dress. I don't mind
David's Bridal. Although having nothing wrong with it, it just seems like the
"average" Honda to the BMW. We're talking, Vera Wang. A.k.a. the QUEEN
of wedding fashion, has captured my eye everywhere and has captivated me
into only wishing for one of her most elegant pieces! As a little girl, I always
loved the sleek and flowy dresses rather than a "Cinderella" ballroom
gown that stuck out twenty feet on each side. Even though we're not
engaged yet, I cannot help but be drawn to the epic decision of what dress
I will wear. I mean, it is the BIG DAY! Everyone that I cherish most
will be there and I have one chance to get it right. No pressure or anything.
All eyes are on the bride as she marches in, so needless to say.
I'm only a little stressed :)
So, in early pre-preparation, I wanted to share with you my season's favorites
of Vera Wang. Everyone has their style from strapless to one shoulder, halter or
V back, bow or no bow, white, red, cream, black.... To each is own!
I have never said "Oh my God" and "Holy Crap" so many
times in 30 minutes looking at Vera's website.
They. are. to. die. for.

Happy Holidays!

I can’t help but wonder what everyone’s traditions and customs are as the holidays roll along. Thanksgiving was filled with lots of food and family. Christmas was none-the-less one of the many reasons that it is The Most Wonderful Time of the Year! It seems everyone is stuck on what they want for Christmas and receiving that perfect gift, but I have been thinking and have come up with my “Rest of the Year List” (post-Christmas)
Enjoy!

Can't Be Tamed to Speak Now

I can't decide who I like better. Both Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift are good role models for any age girl in the world. Miley has Hannah Montana and also starred in The Last Song. Taylor's new album, Speak Now, sold millions within the first week! Most celebrities would be against each other competitively but Taylor and Miley have a cute friendship! Both are beautiful and God has richly blessed them!

Far From Ordinary

Ordinary? No, I really don't think so.
Not a love this true.
Common destiny, we were meant to be, me and you.
Like a perfect scene from a movie screen,
We're a dream come true.
Suited perfectly, for eternity, me and you.

Everyday, well I need you even more,
And the nighttime too.
There's no way, I could ever let you go.
Even if I wanted to.

Everyday I live, try my best to give,
All I have to you.
Thank the stars above, that we share this love, me and you

Everyday, well I need you even more,
And the nighttime too.
There's no way, I could ever let you go.
Even if I wanted to.

Ordinary? No, I really don't think so.
Just a precious few
Ever make it last, are as lucky as
me and you.

Worthwhile.

-Lexie: "It's just sex. No feelings involved."
Meredith: "Your heart is in your vagina."
Lexie: "My heart is not in my vagina!"

OH, how I love Grey's.

-Teddy needs to stop falling for him. He is Doctor Yang's! She's just a gold digger.

-Poor Kristina, she embarrased herself in front of Harper Avery. Yes, the Harper Avery.

-Callie is way too pretty to be lesbian. She could have someone.. Maybe McSteamy.. she should go for it.. I mean he said, "Well I wouldn't have to sleep with them if you'd put out" Hello? What other clue do you need?

When I watch this show and think about all they see, I contemplate my Major as a Registered Nurse. But then I think about the lives that wil be saved, the babies that will meet their new mommies, the babies that will be given a chance for survival, the women that will become moms for the first time, and the dads that will wash their little newborns when I measure and weigh their little bodies. And it all seems worth it.

"We don't know what the day is gonna hold. We'd prefer to know what curve balls would be thrown our way. It's the accidents turn out to be the most interesting parts of our day, of our life. The people we never expected to show up. Whatever accidents come our way, will be happy ones." - Meredith Grey

Hostility On Idol?

Personally I love American Idol because of their honestness. You cannot get anywhere in the singing industry unless people critic your voice thoroughly! Harsh or not. Simon Cowell is one of the main reasons people watch Idol and he truly speaks his mind. There's Randy, honest and sweet. Then Ellen the "new girl" or "new man" however you'd like to interpret that, Kara, the sweeter but sincere girl and Simon, the heartbreaking-rough-outspoken judge that makes Idol what it is.

I do love Simon's honesty, but does Ryan Seacrest like Simon? I sense hostility in the air tonight after he tells one of the girls that her performance was horrendous after saying, quote; "I say this not to be rude". As Ryan walked up on the stage, he says to Simon, "And saying that it was horrendous wasn't rude at all?"
There was a silence followed with an awkward laugh and Ryan going on..
Could there be trouble in Hollywood?

Oh, El Nino.

Dear Snow,

I grew fond of you as a child because of your scarcity. It seems to be becoming a weekly annual thing here in North Alabama for us to have about 1 to 2 inches of snow on the ground. I have managed to build a snowman for the first time in my life and yes, it was a blast and and held due to really great pictures but, I am pretty sure you have worn out your welcome. We are not a "snowy" part of the country nor do we plan on becoming one. I can visit my cousin in D.C. if I plan on sledding or freezing my butt off. The ortheasterners are more than welcome to continue shoveling 20'' off to the road sides or hold off Parliament for a couple days but I think I speak for my part of the southeast when I say, go freeze someone else!

Par 4

Reading from several sheets of paper, a contrite-looking Woods stood in front of a blue velvet curtain in a dark suit with no tie and spoke directly to the camera during the address, which came more than 80 days after a Thanksgiving car crash that set in motion a torrent of tabloid reports about Woods' many alleged infidelities.

Give this man a break, America.

In his on-camera statement, he apologized to his fans, his fellow golfers, his wife Elin, his children, family, sponsors and parents who've held the world's greatest golfer up as a model to their children. Stop passing judgment on someone that has done something thousands of other people have done in their life and just because he's the world's best golfer, makes millions a year, was sponsored by nike and endorsed by many companies the world wants to criticize him and make his life even more public now. The same thing has happened to other celebs in the past.. why does the media grasp for this kind of publicity? Have we come so far in society as to we are begging for adultery, divorce, cheating, etc. for public attention and ratings? My point is, other people have done this not only celebrities. Not only is he begging us to forgive him and put this in the past, but to leave him and his family alone. This is between a husband and a wife and should have stayed there to begin with. That's all.

M.J. would be proud

"I do believe in fairies"

As of today, I have 3 months and 13 days left until I become Scottsboro High School Alumni. Graduation, although it feels like it, is not the end but the beginning of a newer and even more exciting chapter in our lives! I have mixed feelings every other day. One day I'm totally hyped about moving on and starting college, getting a job, getting married and settling down. Then the next day I am so sad that all my friends just about are moving off and it feels horrible but I'm super excited and happy for all of them. No matter if they're going to be at Mississippi State, Alabama, Auburn, UAH, or at Northeast, I will be praying for them all and missing them all more than they realize!

I won't be deppressed about it but I am going to miss seeing them 6 days a week and hanging out, birthday parties, long late-night talks about life and guys, lunch table convos, pep rallies, ball games and student sections that are supposed to be a Senior majority but Juniors are un-cooperative so we just let it go, copying homework, Mr. Day's class and being able to skip class to go to his class, Mrs. Esslinger's deep motivational talks and novels, and pointless hours of riding around a town we always complain has nothing to do when we can really have fun just doing almost nothing like dancing in random parking lots, rolling someone's house or writing funny stuff on balloons we give to the ones we love/love to hate. Whether it's just a sleepover at Adair's, planning senior trip, before prom pictures, swimming at Shelby's, or just watching movies at Hannah's we always have a blast and that's what were supposed to be doing to leave our mark on this dead town. There are positives like getting my degree and a real job and everything. I am just a very sentimental person and these moments mean a lot to me! I guess I just don't really wanna grow up yet :/

At last my love has come along :)

Candy hearts and secret admirers. pink and red all over the stores. Huge cards,
singing cards, loads of chocolate and flowers galore! Yes, it's that time of
year again and my second Valentine's with the love of my life, Tysce! His Christmas
gift to me could only be topped off by one thing. He means the world to me and
when I think about how much I love him and how perfect we are together, I think of
all the quote "perfect couples" I know. There are lots of celebrities that not only
look cute together but also appear to have everything under control in the public eye.
People are people and sometimes we change our minds. Despite this fact, they look
cute together if only for a momentary laps, in our dreams or in pictures.

Grey's = LoVe

Certain people have certain obsessions.
Some are obsessed with Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, or the headlines of the news from day to day such as "Octo-mom" or "the swine flu".
For me, I get lost in something else. Something that goes along with basically what I hope to do for the rest of my life. There are thousands of people all around America that tune in to their favorite television shows on certain nights. My obsession just happens to be Grey's Anatomy. Thursday nights have never been better. At 8:00 I tune in to see what the latest gossip is at Seattle Grace. McSteamy and little Grey? Are they done or is this just a phase? How Derek (McDreamy) is going to do as the new Chief of Surgery. How Chang is doing with her new love life and how Alex is doing in Peds. & even though I have my doubts, I keep begging for Izzie back. She is my absolute favorite on Grey's and it really is not the same without her. Kathering Heigl is my absolute favorite actress. My life would simply not be complete without this show. Adair Moody and Shelby Valentine currently share the same obsession with me but I am for sure that I love the show the most. Meredith and Derek are the ultimate perfect couple. Nothing can break them apart and they are always there for each other to be honest and open. My favorite episode was the last one of last season when Derek proposed to her and lined the candles up and told her what their house was going to look like. Like a picture perfect romance. And you CAN have those! They DO exist!

So I have stated my obsession and will continue to express my feelings through blogs:)
