Thankful

Why do we hurt the people we love the most, the most?
That has been on my mind a lot lately..
There is one person in this world that can make me happy, make me smile,
make me cry and drive me crazy all in one day and I still love him more than anything. Mostly it is, me driving him crazy. He takes care of me.

He provides for me when he shouldn't. He is the funniest person I know. He knows me better than anyone in the world. And I love that.

He is the greatest person and I don’t deserve him.

He will never be able to understand how much I love him. Even if he could slightly even get a glimpse of how deep my love is for him, he still wouldn’t understand. I have made many mistakes and time and time again he forgives me and sometimes I wonder why. Why me? What do I do that makes him love me as much as I love him? Why me, forever? He could have any girl and pass me up, but after almost 3 years, he still has faith in us. But why?

It’s like staring at the moon and staring really hard and still not being able to comprehend what it looks like and how big it is.

That’s how much I love him.

It’s like being in the middle of the ocean and as far as you can see is just water and still not being able to comprehend how big the ocean is. You just can’t no matter how hard you try.
I feel like my blogs are best when I am the most emotional.. When I
have to stop typing to wipe the tears off of my face, I realize how deeply in love with him I am.

That’s how it is,
and I still can’t comprehend it.

Happy Friday!

After a long work week, all I wanted to do was crawl
on the couch with a movie and a bowl of ice cream.
And I did.

Anyways, I found out this cool new way of seeing
exactly who looks at my blog. If the person doesn't have
a blogger account and just views my blog, I can
see from what city and state they're in.
And let me tell you,
I was shocked!
I am so So SO grateful for everyone viewing and
reading, you have no idea! I am so glad that
people are interested in reading what I have to tell the world! People are reading This Is My Now from Opelika, Alabama all the way to Charlotte, North Carolina!! Even if only once,
THANK YOU!!

Also, I have some new pieces to add to my art collection
and I am going to share them with you soon so please
stop by again soon! You might want one of
them for your house! :) Thank you!

A Word to the Wise

Life is not about the number of friends you have on Facebook,
the amount of money you have in your closet, or the way
you try to act cool.
It's about falling in love, humility, being nice to everyone,
having opinions but knowing when to give them, doing your best at whatever you do, being a friend to someone regardless of how they may treat you or how selfish they may act at times, living life to the fullest, and most importantly, wearing your heart on your sleeve.

I have been in the best relationship for ALMOST 3 Years!
He is the sweetest and most sincere boyfriend I could ask for.
He is too good to me and I don't deserve him.
He accepts my faults and weaknesses and supports me
even when he knows that I am wrong. THAT is a best friend!

A best friend will stand beside you through anything and
will be there for you no matter what. Sometimes I wonder
if any of the people that I associated myself with in high school
would have my back no matter what. I know that you learn who
people truly are once you graduate and enter the real world.
People change like crazy! It doesn't matter how good you are to them, if they are not a true friend, they will talk about you as soon as you take your next breath. Sad, isn't it?

Do your best and be your best because that's what life is
all about in the end. People are going to remember you for that
door you open and wait on them with, the smile on your face, your positive attitude and even your last piece of gum you give away.

I'm not a college professor and I definitely do not have a degree in psychology. But I have been through high school and I have seen the difference that takes place in people. So don't do something just because it looks cool and it gets you the most friends or the most attention. What is right is
not always popular, and what is popular is not always right.

Cutesy Crafts

Okay, okay. I know it's been a while but I have had
so much to do between work and well, work. To be honest,
I haven't had time for much of anything else and I only
work at a cafe from 10 to 3.
Anyway, my mom and I started buying letters about 2 years ago
from Hobby Lobby and glueing scrapbook paper to them for
gifts and what-not. It is SO cute! You can use any pattern and
color the sides of the letter to match. Recently I have started
painting the letters along with "papering" them just to spice
it up a little. I have a few pictures of my latest crafty ideas and I
wanted to share them with you guys so if you have any interest
in them, you can email me and I can make anything you'd like!

Painted/scrapbook letters are $6 a piece or if there's 3 or more
(like a name) it's $4 a piece! I also paint crosses and picture frames!
If you have a new idea you'd like me to try, feel free to ask!!
It will take me around 2 days to get your
order back to you! The letters are not that expensive but
it does take me about an hour to paint a letter!
I'm a perfectionist!
Please email me or call me with your order! I'd love
to paint something for your child or you! :)
I am also in the process of finding the really big letters
that go outside on your porch/door. I'll let you guys
know as soon as I do find them! Thank you!!

Time

It’s time.
It’s time to grow up and accept responsibility for your actions.

For many teenagers, this statement is hard to handle.
It’s time to clear the drama.
Time to leave some behind that weren’t really there for you to begin with..
But most importantly, time to have fun!

For me, it hasn’t been the easiest thing in the world to accept responsibility and accept growing up, but in all honesty, I do want to be recognized as a woman. I’ve had tons of fun as a teenager and being in high school/college has been the best experience a kid could ask for. But that’s just it. A KID could ask for.

While we’re being honest, I’m almost 100% sure that I will be the first one out of my group of friends to get married. And the first to graduate college and get a job. Thank God for dual enrollment. I want to get married early. I want it to just be me and Tysce for a while and then I want to be around 24 or 25 when I start having kids.

You may say that I just have everything all planned out.. And I kinda sort of do.
